Self-Service Launderettes:

Each ship has at least 2 self-service launderettes located on the stateroom decks.

There are two or three washers and dryers, and one iron and ironing board in each launderette. The cost is $2.00 per washer load and $2.00 per dryer load. Vending machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener at $1.00 per box.

6. Do I need to pack my Hair Dryer? It is up to you. The hair dryer will be provided in each cabin.

7. What amenities are in my stateroom? All staterooms have an amenity basket displayed in the bathroom. The amenities are subject to change and are only sample sizes. The basket may include such things as: his/her razors; shampoo and conditioner; body wash; Tylenol; deodorant; hard candies. Supplies will be replenished by the room steward, if quantities allow.

8. Is there a dress code for the dining room?Depending on the length of the cruise, either formal dress or casual resort wear is required in the Dining Room. The dress requirement for children is the same. For those not wanting to dress up, the Lido restaurants are open nightly (with the exception of the last evening of the cruise), and have a casual dress code.

Cruise Casual Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Sport slacks, khakis, jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long), collared sport shirts; Ladies - Casual dresses, casual skirts or pants and blouses, summer dresses, Capri pants, dress shorts, jeans (no cut-offs). Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Casual dinner for ladies and gentlemen: gym shorts, basketball shorts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, cut-off jeans, and sleeveless shirts for men.

Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; if you‘d like to show off your evening gowns, that's great too! Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Elegant dinner for ladies and gentlemen: shorts, T-shirts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, jeans, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men, sportswear, and baseball hats.

9. Do you need to bring beach towel? No - The clean beach towels will be provided in your room each night. Put dirty beach towel on floor and your maid will replace with clean towel.

10. Do we provide the hangers? Yes – each cabin has hangers in the closet.

11. Can we bring our own Iron? No – it is a fire hazard and irons in your cabin are not allowed! There are two or three washers and dryers, and one iron and ironing board in each launderette.

12. Wear what clothes around ship? Wear whatever you want to! Dress comfortably! Bring light jacket or sweater for evening shows.

13. How many formal nights? In main dining room – 1. They are optional, because you can go to other Restaurants if you do not feel like dressing up that night. Some people will dress NICE like go to Prom. Other people dress like go to Business meeting, work or church. It is up to you.

14. How big is your cabin bed size? All cabins have 2 twin beds that can be pushed together to make one big bed. You arrive and want beds different, nicely ask your Room Attendant to change it for you. They will be happy to do it for you! No problem. Beds on ship are VERY comfortable. Maybe you will not want to get out of bed in the morning!

Carnival's Cruise Vacation Protection Plan

Carnival wants you to have the best vacation ever, with nothing to think about except how much FUN you’re going to have. That’s why we created Carnival’s Cruise Vacation Protection Plan, starting from prices as low as $49. Carnival’s Cruise Vacation Protection Plan provides you with peace of mind because unfortunately, the unexpected does sometimes occur.

Carnival’s Cruise Vacation Protection Plan is a package of travel protection and emergency assistance services designed to meet the particular needs of our guests. In the event that you must cancel or interrupt your trip because you, a traveling companion or one of either or your immediate family members becomes unexpectedly ill or injured, Carnival will refund you in cash for your otherwise non-refundable cancellation charges, or for the unused portion of your trip should it be interrupted for certain specified reasons as outlined in the Plan Description.

In addition, the plan covers minor inconveniences like lost or delayed baggage, as well as more serious problems such as an unexpected illness or injury requiring emergency evacuation to your home. More importantly, included in the price of the plan is access to a 24-hour traveler’s emergency assistance hotline. For your convenience, the cost of the plan will automatically appear as a option on your invoice.

For a more complete description of the plan benefits, terms, conditions, and exclusions please view our Plan Description.
If you have any question, please contact Vicki lowen at 703-759-0102 VP.

Status as of March 17, 2008

One lady surprised me that it took two weeks for her to get her new passport. Be sure to get PASSPORT now & it might take between 6-9 months so be smart to act quickly.

So if you are traveling in from out of State, schedule your vacation time at work, book your plane travel and start getting ready now because this Reunion Cruise Party is ON !

We have approx 20 people registered already....... Let's keep the ball ROLLING! If you know Classmate Contact Info for ANY of our MISSING Classmates....... PLEASE let Vicki Lowen know!!! Vicki and her team of "Class Detectives" are working tirelessly on trying to find MISSING Classmates...Your help is GREATLY appreciated.

This cruise can hold more people but sounds like a lot of fun. It is up to each you to invite the Class of 1968, 1970, etc if all you could agree. If not, please let Vicki Lowen know by email at fanwood69@cox.net. I would say as soon as we get the price after March 17, 2008 you should send checks($150 deposit) in as it will be on a first come basis (paid only basis).
